With over 20 years in the real estate and financing industries, R. Ali Tirmizi has a unique perspective on the needs of clients. As former vice president of private banking for Union Bank and The Bank of California, he gained valuable insight into the needs of companies and individual investors. At R&A Financial, Mr. Tirmizi has guided the investment of over $1 billion in assets in the last 15 years in the commercial real estate sector. He works with a wide array of investors, ensuring that all clients receive the funding they need through a variety of funding sources. He works with senior debt or equity investors to develop customized solutions to fit a variety of needs.

Mr. Tirmizi is known among investors for his attention to detail. For the last 20 years, he has perfected his approach to funding to help investors and companies target real estate financing options that establish the right financial footing for business growth. No loan is too simple or too complicated – Ali can make it work for everyone involved.

Mr. Tirmizi has helped businesses of varying sizes (with a particular focus on clients with $1-$30 million in annual revenues) achieve their commercial real estate goals with alternative funding. He’s worked with multi-family developers to buy properties for light to extensive rehab work and investment purposes. He excels at connecting high net-worth individuals, companies, and service corporations to find the right financing for each and every client.

Mr. Tirmizi founded R&A Financial as a boutique capital advisory firm to collaborate with experienced operators and sponsors to fund projects in the four major real estate “food group” asset classes: apartment buildings, office/medical buildings, retail, and industrial properties.
